Green Force Light Systems Green Force® lighting systems are designed and manufactured by Leys Inc. which has half a century experience in drawing, constructing and subcontracting spare components for offshore, aircraft and nuclear industry. Unlike any other lighting system, Green Force® lighting systems are designed and manufactured according to the highest industrial standards, using the latest technologie and machinery available on the market. One feature distinguishes it even more from all other systems, it's unmatched modularity. All the components are interchangeable and one has the choice between some 10 aluminum and delrin battery packs and 15 aluminium lightheads that vary from halogen over LED to HID and are all compatible and modular. One can start for instance with a basic battery pack and light head and will still be able to upgrade its torch without huge costs. According to the lighthead that's been used, Green Force® battery packs can supply the diver with up to 40 hours (!) of burn time. The modularity of the Green Force® system allows one to modify or expand an existing configuration according to ones personal needs or according to changed diving conditions. According to the configuration, general or specific parts are available. The use of the Green Force® TOS® connection is specific on all Green Force® components and allows a combination of all these components. The Green Force® TOS® connection allows a twist on/off control and eliminates the use of any switch which can be a potential failure point. Housing & Use
The casings of Green Force® lightheads are made of sea water-resistant aluminium. They have been treated with three processes to produce a hard, corrosion-resistant surface. To switch on the light, the lighthead has to be screwed down to the battery pack or cable. To switch off the light, it'll do to unscrew the lighthead half a turn.
