We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the product you bought from us you can return it for a full refund excluding any shipping charges we have paid which will be deducted. There is no restocking fee and no questions asked

Title; Risk of Loss:
Title to products passes from Dive Gear Australia to Customer on shipment from Dive Gear Australia's facility. Loss or damage that occurs during shipping by a carrier selected by Dive Gear Australia is Dive Gear Australia's responsibility. Loss or damage that occurs during shipping by a carrier selected by Customer is Customer's responsibility.

Dive Gear Australia continually upgrades and revises its products and service offerings to provide Dive Gear Australia's customers with new products and service offerings. In the event that an ordered product is out of stock, Customer will be contacted prior to any delays or substitutions. 
In very rare instance if an item marked In Stock is out of stock our customer service department will contact you and if agreed, the item will be shipped as soon as we receive them from our suppliers(usually two day delivery. Dive Gear Australia will pay postage charges on all subsequent shipments after the initial one, Australia only. only.

Items that we don't usually stock, and are ordered specifically for the customer, special orders are final sale and non-refundable and may take an extensive amount of delivery time, please contact us in advanced for expected delivery time.

Prices:
All prices quoted include GST. The Company has used all reasonable endeavours to ensure that prices for the Supplies are accurately set out in the Catalogue but reserves the right to change prices without notice at any time. Prices charged will be those prevailing when an order is accepted.
 
Delivery:
A nominal charge may be made against all orders to cover carriage, package and handling. Where we are unable to supply a complete order from stock, this charge will only apply to the original despatch and all subsequent shipments to complete the order will be sent carriage free.
The Company will ship in stock orders within 2 business days and delivery should be expected within 7 days. The Company will use reasonable endeavours to meet delivery and/or performance estimates, in no circumstances shall it be liable to compensate the Customer for non-delivery, non-performance or late delivery or performance. Time for delivery and/or performance will not be of the essence. Delivery will be made to the address specified by the Customer. The Company may use any method of delivery available to it. The Company reserves the right to deliver or perform by instalments.
 
Overseas Delivery:
Can take up to 4 weeks depending on geographical locations. As it is out of our hands 
 
Warranties :
All products we supply are covered by a full Manufacturers warranty. W arranty returns must simply retain a copy of our invoice for the goods 
and must be returned to us in person or by Registered Mail. Warranty returns for Scuba regulators, octopus and BCDs must also contain copies of annual service invoices.
Dive Gear Australia  will endeavour to transfer to the Customer the benefit of any warranty or guarantee given by the manufacturer of Goods on every item we sell where such a warranty is provided. We do not provide warranty service on items not purchased through us
 
Purchase Requirements:
You hereby acknowledge that you are over 18 years of age.
Scuba Diving equipment should only be used by certified Scuba Divers. We do not accept liability for the use of Scuba Diving equipment by certified and non certified individuals.
Dive Gear Australia are not responsible for any consequential or incidental damages resulting from the sale, non-delivery, use or improper function of any equipment purchased from us. The responsibility, if any is imposed, of Dive Gear Australia in regard to any item purchased shall be limited to the monetary value of the merchandise purchased.

Oceanic Australia Product Warranty

Oceanic Australia  offers product warranty for all Oceanic, Aeris and Hollis product purchased in Australia from an Authorised Dealer.
If you purchase your product outside of Australia, it will not be covered by warranty in Australia and a service charge will be levied if warranty or normal service is required. You can alternatively return it to the original point of purchase for service.
Warranty Period
All Oceanic, Aeris and Hollis Hardware, comprising Regulators, Octopus Regulators (Octo's), Buoyancy Compensators (BC's), Wings and Analogue Gauges, when purchased from an Authorised Dealer in Australia, under normal recreational use, are provided with a Limited Lifetime Warranty (LLW) to cover against any defects in materials and workmanship. Digital Instrumentation is provided with a 5 year Limited Warranty.
This Warranty also covers free service parts for life for the Regulator and Octo. Obviously some common sense conditions apply.
Those conditions are:
  • The product must be registered with Oceanic Australia within 30 days of purchase. This registration should be completed On-Line or by completing and returning the Warranty Registration form provided by your Authorised Oceanic Dealer. 

  • Failure to register your product will reduce your warranty status to 1 year, when purchased from an Authorised Oceanic, Aeris or Hollis Dealer in Australia, under normal recreational use, and cover against any defects in materials and workmanship. The free service parts for life will not be applicable in this case.

  • All products must be serviced annually by an authorised Oceanic, Aeris or Hollis Service Technician. This agreement is null and void if such regular annual service is not performed.

  • Oceanic Australia and your authorised Oceanic, Aeris or Hollis Dealer will provide all overhaul service parts at no charge. Any parts required other than overhaul service parts are the responsibility of the owner of the product serviced. These exceptions are described in Product Specific Warranties later in this document.

  • All labour fees included in annual service are the responsibility of the owner of the product serviced.

  • This warranty shall be void if the equipment has been tampered with by a person (or persons) not authorised by Oceanic Australia to perform such service.

  • The warranty is non transferable and extends to the original purchaser only. It is void if the equipment was purchased from anyone other than an Authorised Oceanic, Aeris or Hollis Dealer in Australia.
  • Normal wear and tear as determined by age and usage is excluded from the Oceanic, Aeris or Hollis Lifetime Warranty.
To maintain this Lifetime Warranty, you must show proof of purchase and proof of authorised annual service. If returned for service, your product should be accompanied by a copy of the original sales receipt.
All Oceanic, Aeris and Hollis Software, comprising Masks, Snorkels, Fins, Wetsuits, Hoods, Vests, Boots, Gloves, Drysuits and Accessories, when purchased from an Authorised Oceanic, Aeris or Hollis Dealer in Australia, under normal recreational use, is provided with a one (1) year Warranty to cover against any defects in materials and workmanship. Obviously some common sense conditions apply.
Those conditions are:
  • Loss, or damage due to accident, abuse, tampering, lack of maintenance, exposure to excessive temperature, extended sunlight or deteriorating chemicals.

  • Service or modifications by any person or persons other than an Authorized Oceanic, Aeris or Hollis Dealership. 

  • The warranty is non transferable and extends to the original purchaser only. It is void if the equipment was purchased from anyone other than an Authorised Oceanic, Aeris or Hollis Dealer in Australia.
  • Normal wear and tear as determined by age and usage is excluded from the Lifetime Warranty.
To maintain this one year Warranty, you must show proof of purchase. If returned for service, your product should be accompanied by a copy of the original sales receipt.
 

 

 

TUSA Platinum Performance Guarantee

Tabata Australia offer a Platinum Performance Guarantee. This guarantee includes a Lifetime Warranty for the original purchaser against manufacturing faults and defects. For Tabata to honour this warranty the regulator must be maintained and serviced on a regular basis to factory specifications. Tabata regulators are manufactured to EN 250 standards which means with proper care a Tabata regulator will give many years of safe and reliable high performance.
To assist in maintaining Platinum Performance Tabata train accredited Technicians throughout Australia. We also offer assistance to the purchaser by providing, at no charge, parts redemption coupons. When a regulator is registered either through the post or via the internet 5 redemption coupons are returned to the purchaser with their regulator model and serial number identified. 
The diver presents a coupon with their regulator for service and the Tabata Dealer can claim the parts kits used during service. This means the customer only pays a labour charge to the service person and the customer is assured of genuine factory approved parts being used.
Only Tabata Dealers with approved workshop facilities can claim redemption parts. 
The workshop must be inspected and approved by the Tabata local area representative.
If you require your equipment to be serviced to a high level in a Factory Approved manner and genuine parts to be used support your local TUSA Dealer.
 
From June 1, 2009 TUSA's Platinum Performance Guarantee allows you to register your new TUSA regulator, BC Jackets or Computer online and receive our regulator  Platinum Performance vouchers providing free parts when you service your new regulator up to five times.

The Warranty states that;
  • Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects and workmanship for regulators..
  • The Lifetime Warranty is non-transferable and is valid for the original purchaser only
  • Lifetime Warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, neglect, alteration, loss or unauthorized repairs.
  • The Lifetime Warranty does not cover the cost of inspection, preventative maintenance, standard replacement parts or labour charges.
  • Tabata or its dealers reserve the right to charge for replacement or repair if signs of abuse are evident
  • Lifetime Warranty is not applicable to Rental, Dive School or Commercial use
  • The regulator must be inspected and serviced annually within 30 days of the anniversary date of purchase or every 200 hours of use, whichever occurs first..
  • Platinum Performance Guarantee includes 5 Repair Kit Redemption Coupons. 
    Parts redemption is only  claimable by Certified Authorized Regulator Technicians working in an Authorized Dealer Workshop, unless otherwise stated.
  • Parts redemption is only available for the regulator / serial number identified on the coupon.
  • Redemption Coupons are not redeemable for cash.
  • Redemption Coupons are posted to the original purchaser upon registration with Tabata Australia either on line or by returning the card.
  • Dive computers are covered against faulty workmanship for 12 months. 
  • BCDs are covered against manufacturing defects and workmanship in seams and bladders for life.
  • All other TUSA scuba diving equipment is covered for 12 months.
  • Proof of purchase will be required.
Please note new regulators purchased after June 1, 2009 must be registered

  • Limited Lifetime Warranty
    Underwater Kinetics warrants to the original purchaser only the  Underwater Kinetics product purchased to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the lifetime of the original purchaser, except components and parts which are subject to the following express Limited Warranties.
  • Limited Ten Year Warranty
    Underwater Kinetics warrants to the original purchaser any component or housing of the product purchased to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ten years from date of purchase. 
  •   Limited Three Year Warranty
    Underwater Kinetics warrants to the original purchaser only the fabrics and rubber components and parts of the product purchased to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of three years from date of purchase.
  •   Limited Ninety Day Warranty
    Underwater Kinetics warrants to the original purchaser only the rechargeable battery components and parts of the product purchased to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ninety days from date of purchase. 
  • Limited Thirty Day Warranty
    Underwater Kinetics warrants to the original purchaser only the lamp components and parts of the product purchased to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of thirty days from date of purchase.
These Limited warranties do not apply: 
(i) to normal wear experienced in the proper use of the product, component or part; 
(ii) to asserted defects caused by modification, misuse or abuse, or improper maintenance of the product, component or part; 
(iii) to asserted defects involving subjective personal likes or judgments as to performance of the product, component or part; or (iv) to circumstances involving accidental damage to the product, component or part.
Obligations and Limitations
The obligation under these Limited Warranties is restricted to repair or replacement of the product, component or part which has been confirmed by Underwater Kinetics to be defective under the Terms and Conditions stated.
In no event shall  Underwater Kinetics be liable for incidental or consequential damages of any nature or kind including damages to camera components, or for damages to persons or property. THESE LIMITED WARRANTIES ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, AND ALL SUCH OTHER WARRANTIES ARE DISCLAIMED EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY MAY BE IMPOSED BY STATE CONSUMER LAW. Any implied warranty imposed by state consumer law is limited in duration to the period of the applicable express Limited Warranty or one year from date of purchase of the product, whichever is earlier.
